Happy New Year!!!

Once again another year has flown by. As we say goodbye to 2008, and welcome in 2009 the Butchertown Neighborhood Association wishes everyone a Happy New Year. This year will undoubtedly go into the record books as one of our nation's most trying. From the economic turmoil and collapse of our financial systems, to our historic elections- 2008 was a year of uncertainty in which we clung to hope and wished for better times.

Tomorrow we turn a new leaf, and with that comes new aspirations and expectations. We hope all of you will continue to put forth the effort it takes to grow and tighten our community. Many of you have dedicated countless hours for the sake of Butchertown, and we are grateful for your service. We are looking forward to hosting new community based events, and can't wait to see you all there!

Happy New Year Butchertown, and may 2009 be a peaceful, healthy, and refreshing year!
